Who Reviews This Site

One reviewer checks how we match each Vanuatu passport form to the person who should use it. Her role and limits are set out here.

Send Us a Message

Choosing the wrong passport application wastes time, so this site sorts the Vanuatu forms by situation: a first passport after citizenship is granted, a passport for a child, a renewal and the cases in between. We are an independent information site. We do not issue passports, we are not part of any government, and we have no say in whether a passport is granted.

Our explanations are reviewed by Anastasia Goma, who checks that each form is matched to the right applicant and that the requirements we list are current.

Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate, Anastasia Goma works in international criminal defence on matters with a cross-border element, many of them politically sensitive, financial or high-risk. Her work includes written submissions and strategic case analyses.

She has a procedural background from years in the judicial system, and she has assisted clients across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Her working languages are English, Ukrainian and Russian. On this site she applies that procedural training to a practical question: whether a reader following our guide would pick up the right form and arrive with the right papers.

What Goma checks on this site

  • That each passport form is linked to the applicant situation it is meant for, and that overlapping cases are flagged rather than guessed.
  • That pages keep the citizenship decision under the Citizenship Act [CAP 112] separate from the later passport application.
  • Supporting document lists for each form, compared with the current published requirements.
  • Passport fees, matched to published amounts and dated, with no figure left without a source.
  • Visa-free travel statements, attributed to destination countries' own rules and dated, not presented as permanent.

What the reviewer does not do

Our reviewer does not issue, renew or apply for passports on anyone's behalf. She also takes no part in citizenship applications, which only a designated agent from the published register can lodge and only the Citizenship Commission can decide. This page is an explanation of our review, not advice on your own circumstances.
